Founded in 1994, Foodwise (formerly CUESA) operates the world-renowned Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and Mission Community Market in San Francisco. I contacted CUESA a ways back, and they said they weren't accepting applications...about how long until they will? Can you offer them more than somebody that already is permitted now? Can you buy a permit from somebody who already has one? How do you "get in"?

Remembering how incredibly exciting and romantic San Francisco was - especially fun purchasing Dungeness crab close to the wharf! Scoma’s Restaurant was fabulous and Ghirardelli is great scenery!
It is important for children to learn to assist in the family kitchen. Food tastes better when every one has a say in what is being served. It is a true joy to have my daughter working alongside me when I cook.
As a San Fransican, may I say yes! We have farmers markets everyday somewhere in the city. We can talk, discuss, taste, imagine a new recipe, idea. Thanks chef. Do I hear correctly, you are, yet again, working on a new book? I look forward to it.
